2010 - Finished second in the IZOD IndyCar Series season championship standings, won the inaugural Mario Andretti Road Course Championship. Earned a series leading five victories (Brazil, St. Petersburg, Watkins Glen, Toronto & Sonoma) and a series record eight pole positions (St. Petersburg, Long Beach, Alabama, Watkins Glen, Edmonton, Iowa, Mid-Ohio & Sonoma). Scored 11 top-fives and 13 top-10 finishes.

2009 - Made his debut with Team Penske filling in for Helio Castroneves at the St. Petersburg Grand-Prix. At Long Beach he strapped into the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske Honda/Dallara, put it on the pole and finished second in the race. At Edmonton he scored his first victory for the Team, driving the No. 12 Penske Truck Rental Honda/Dallara from the pole to the winner's circle.

2008 - Made IndyCar Series debut after two full seasons and two races in Champ Car World Series. Driving the KV Racing Technology #8 Aussie Vineyards - Team Australia Honda/Dallara entry, earns three top-five finishes and six top-ten finishes. Wins final Champ Car event at Long Beach after starting fourth and leading a race-high 81 laps.Starts from pole in the IndyCar Series post-season exhibition at Surfers Paradise, and leads 16 laps before an accident forces him out of the race. Finishes 12th in the IndyCar Series Championship point standings.

2007 - Competes in second full season in Champ Cars with Team Australia. Earns nine top-10 finishes including eight top-five showings with five podiums and two wins. Becomes first Australian driver to win a Champ Car event (Las Vegas). Qualified in top-10 in 13 of 14 races, 10 times in first two rows with five poles. Finishes fourth in Championship standings.

2006 - Competes in first full season in Champ Cars with Team Australia. Earns nine top-10 finishes including three top-five showings and first career podium. Qualifies in the top-10 in 12 of 14 races, twice in first two rows with first career pole (Surfers Paradise). Led Series in laps (1191 out of 1251) and miles (2350.748 out of 2432.645) completed. Finishes sixth in Championship standings. Wins Roshfrans Rookie of the Year Award and the Bridgestone Passion for Excellence Award.

2005 - Competes in World Series Powered by Renault for Carlin Motorsport as well as two Champ Car World Series events with Team Australia.Finishes seventh in World Series Powered by Renault Championship despite missing last two events. Earns two wins, Le Mans and Bilbao, four podiums and two poles. Makes Champ Car debut in Surfers Paradise, Australia and earns first Champ Car top-10 finish in second start at Mexico City. Finishes 17th in Championship.

2004 - Competes in full season of British F3 Championship with Alan Docking Racing. Finishes ninth in Championship earning five podium finishes including two seconds at Knockhill. Tests for Minardi Formula 1, European F3000 and World Series Powered by Renault teams.

2003 - Competes in three rounds of British F3 Championship with Diamond/Ralt - Honda Mugen Racing. Also competes in Fortec Motorsport/Dallara-Renault Series. Drives Bathurst 24-hour race with three co-drivers.

2002 - Competes in Formula Holden (Australian Gold Star Drivers Championship) as well as in?Australian Formula 3. Wins Formula Holden Championship with seven wins in 12 races and named Rookie of the Year. Finishes second in Australian Formula 3 after earning six wins and 10 podiums in 12 starts. Runs two V8 Supercar events at Queensland and the Bathurst 1000.

2001 - Competes in Formula Ford National Series in Australia. Finishes second in Formula Ford National Series with five wins and 10 podiums in 16 starts. Invited to Honda Indy Young Guns event Surfers Paradise. Places second overall after winning first race and placing second in second race.

2000 - Competes in Formula Ford State Series in Australia and Formula Ford National Series in Australia. Wins Queensland State Championship, earning 18 podiums in 18 starts including seven wins, nine second-place and two third-place results. Finishes Seventh overall in National Series with five podium results. Runs the Formula Ford Gold Coast Indy support races and wins one of two races.
